Perry Adams Antiques traces its roots back to 1980 and the first catalog of Virginia civil war relics published by Bill and Ben’s Relics. From that erstwhile beginning, Ben Greenbaum and Bill Irvin have assisted numerous individuals and institutions expand and enhance their collections. While we are not at liberty to mention our private clients, we can assure you that objects evaluated, authenticated and appraised by us are now components of the fine collections in institutions such as the U.S. Army Museum system, the Virginia Military Institute Museum system, the Virginia Historical Society, the Valentine Richmond History Center, Tryon Palace in New Bern, North Carolina, Pamplin Historical Park and Museum of the Civil War Soldier, the Schenectady County Historical Society in Schenectady, New York, and Washington and Lee University.

Over the past 30 years, our offerings have expanded well beyond the early, singular focus on quality militaria; indeed, we now invite you to browse through our extensive array of antiques and decorative arts, as well as fine civil war relics and militaria, and find something that will accent your home or office or an item that will enhance or upgrade your collections, whatever they might entail.

In addition to offering a fine array of civil war items for sale, we are always interested in pursuing the purchase or consignment of an exceptional item or entire collections. We also encourage you to consider using our professional appraisal services for estate planning, asset based lending, asset liquidation, equitable distribution, and insuring your items against casualty loss.

We welcome the opportunity to put our experience and expertise to work for you.
