Fine Pair of Original Civil War Boots
Fine Pair of Original Civil War Boots – This pair of boots is definitively from the Civil War (or earlier) period. Most of the boots that we now encounter, purported to be of the Civil War period, simply are not – they are post-war. This pair has all of the features that one should see in a Civil War pair of boots: Cuban style, concave and stacked heel; high arch instep; interior fabric boot pulls (one of the four pulls is missing); square toes; double row, wooden pegged soles; two-piece, rough side out construction. The boots extend to about mid-leg height; they are in excellent condition. The boots measure as follows: Height – 12 7/8”.
