Original Civil War Union Army Model 1858 Bullseye Canteen – Gratz Maker, Phila. Depot – The spout on this canteen is stamped “R.H. GRATZ Co PHILADA”  and is a product of the 1862 government contract (documented in Mike O’Donnell’s U.S. Army and Militia Canteens, pages 119-120). The canteen no longer has its cover or stopper, but remains in excellent condition; all three sling guides remain.
