Original Civil War Period Brass “Doughnut” Style Traveling Candlesticks – This original set of traveling candlesticks remain in excellent condition. The rather clever construction of these allows the candle holders unscrew at the base of each saucer, then are nestled into one of the saucers, allowing the two saucers to join together for packing in a knapsack or haversack. Each saucer measures approximately 3.25” in diameter; the candlesticks are about 2” in height when fully assembled.
