Civil War Bullseye Canteen – This is a nice example of a war period, issued canteen; it remains in excellent condition, with all three sling guides and original stopper. The cover is no longer on the canteen; there are no maker’s marks on the pewter spout. An original stopper chain is attached to the pull ring of the stopper, although this type of bullseye used twine to attach the stopper to a sling guide.
