Fine Pair of Civil War Spurs with Original Boot Attachment Straps with Adjustment Buckles – This pair of spurs appears to be a higher grade, private purchase pair. Both spurs retain their original boot attachment straps and black, japanned, iron adjustment buckles; these buckles are sewn and not riveted to the straps, indicative of war period construction. The cast brass spurs exhibit a nice, mellow, aged patina; both iron rowels are in place and in good condition. These are excellent examples of war period spurs.
